I surprisingly really enjoyed this book. There's nothing specifically that stands out or screams to me, but I just enjoyed the slice of life story. It was simple, it only looked at a very brief moment in these characters lives, and it didn't try to solve all of their problems. There was still hope though. There were characters dealing with very real things, who had nice real moments of hope and outlook. I just enjoyed it.
