Let me start by saying this: a rom-com book NEVER needs to be over 400 pages, and this book is a prime example of that. I was really enjoying myself until the sorta plot twist at the end where Shane’s dad passed away . I don’t really understand why that needed to happen…maybe to add some emotion to the book? But there was already plenty of that with the whole Diana and Percy situation. Anyways, besides that I did think this was a solid read. There was some…interesting spice to say the least. I’m not sure you could pay me money to have someone (especially my close friend) watch me hook up with my boyfriend, but to each their own. I credit Elle Kennedy with getting me back into reading so many years ago with The Deal, so I’m never going to hate one of her books.
