I loved the fast pacing and short chapters, this book was super well written and engaging. I think the characters fell a bit flat for me and it seemed like there was a romantic subplot attempted that just never got fully developed. However, the mystery was gripping and I couldn’t guess anything until the final reveal, which I love! It’s always fun to find a book with a genuinely surprising plot twist. The villain was brilliantly portrayed and this was generally just a really enjoyable book. My only big critique was just the lack of dimension from the main character, but that didn’t keep me from thoroughly enjoying this book!
