Stay and Fight by Madeline ffitch

Did not finish book. Stopped at 29%.
All of these characters are unbelievably irritating. I thought I would root for the city girl who finds herself building a new life in the country with the help and love of her neighbors. No. It's the two most stubborn people trying to control this homestead, who only get along when they're arguing. I get wanting to be ready for the collapse of civilization, but being to aggressively against getting help from your community is unhelpful. I can only hope there was character development later on, but I just couldn't keep putting up with it.
