Irish Eyes by Mary Kay Andrews

3.0

My feelings on this finale of the series are complex -- It definitely was the most complex mystery of the series, which was gratifying, but it brought the death of Bucky, who has been a great character throughout the whole series. There was very little House Mouse action, though, except for Baby and Sister, who were good, as usual. I was disappointed that Edna seemed so unsympathetic and unemotional about Bucky being shot and Callahan's dealing with it. It was sad that Bucky finally passed at the end of the book, but it wasn't unexpected; however, I was hoping for some resolution with the Mac/Nashville situation by the end of the book and it just got left feeling so weird.

Overall, I have really liked this series and Callahan, but I wish the series had ended a little better.
