The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas

5.0

While somewhat confusing, I think this was a superb and original take on time travel. It had elements of practicality that made it more believable than those which are simply fantastical.

I would love to see this made into a movie, with the twists and turns of silver and green selves. It really calls up such imaginative future possibilities. While a book about females and scientific exploits, it doesn’t come across as a feminist statement, although of course it is to some extent. I don’t know whether this story would have worked so well had it been male-centric.
