A Short Stay in Hell by Steven L. Peck

5.0

“a hope that somehow, something,…someone, will see that i’m trying. i’m really trying, and that will be enough”

i really didn’t expect to enjoy this book as much as i did. in short, the book is about someone being condemned to hell and the only way out is to find a book that depicts their life story. the catch is that 99% of the books are straight up nonsense and finding their book will likely take eons. the concept of hell not technically being permanent but damn near impossible to escape is a torturous thought within itself. your odds are not in your favor at all but the statistics state that it’s possible to escape from it so it gives you just enough hope to keep trying.
