The Russian Garland of Fairy Tales; Being Russian Folk Legends by Robert Steele

5.0

While a few of the tales were remarkably long, I found this to be a very fun and interesting read. One of the best parts is that so many of the 'magical' items are totally commonplace in the modern world--like shoes that look like they were cast from a mold! (Crocs, anyone?) That's the sort of detail that makes reading fairy tales so very much fun.
