Sally Hepworth has quickly become an “auto-buy” author for me. She is the best of the “domestic thriller” writers in my opinion. Sure the stories have a certain soap-opera vibe (let’s be honest... everyone loves that 😉) but her writing is just superior. I love her use of dual-narrators but also her use of the past and present. For some reason she just gets it right! Plot and prose flow freely through the time periods and the different narrators.

Now for The Soulmate specifically... wow. This story was so gripping and interesting! It held my interest immediately and did not disappoint. The setting was beautifully described and the twists were fresh and really fit within the story! Sure one or two were predictable but the realization on the paper was satisfying nonetheless. I felt the ending was as actually surprising and I loved it.
