This book was unorthodox, insightful and soul deep!
As someone who went to an all girls catholic school, I appreciate so many elements of this book and how they played on the nostalgia of my high school days. Of course, I never thought of the residing Priest in this way at Friday mass but he didn’t look anything like Father Bell either! lol
It was absolutely refreshing to read such a filthy piece of emotional literature clinging closely to the aspects of religion without disintegrating the holiness that abides within them. I appreciate the author holding on to the authenticity of the catholic religion in its entirety.
My only take away is that I should’ve listened to the audiobook while I read this because that would’ve probably made the experience DIABOLICAL!!!! 😭❤️
And exceptional well done job tot he author!! 😮💨🤌🏽
