Six More Months of June by Daisy Garrison
3.5
Despite the cliche premise, I really enjoyed this. Slow burn, friends to lovers, mutual pining - what's not to love? Some of the dialogues were genuinely hilarious and even the narration was much more interesting than YA tends to be.
However, being a hater, I do have some notes:
1) Hollis is the best character. She could've easily been written out as a bitchy popular girl but she was so complex and overall the best, most selfless character in the story.
2) I hate when books do that thing where everyone pairs off perfectly in the end. I know it's supposed to be feel-good but it's so unnecessary.
