Love, Loss, and What We Ate: A Memoir by Padma Lakshmi

3.0

Interesting to learn more about Padma, after seeing her for so long on Top Chef. She had many interesting stories, but I found them hard to relate to, so didn’t feel that emotionally engaged. Her style of writing was also tricky, I had a hard time remembering names, or things like- how much older someone was that someone else. So much of her life felt disconnected, I feel like I have a lot of fascinating tidbits about her life, but they just didn’t quite gel into a full picture of her and her life.
