Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.

eh. i think ultimately it wasn't for me and reading it was starting to feel like a chore. i usually enjoy messy characters but the i think the character were too asshole for my taste and the story take... such a ridiculous long time to set up the story that by the time the LI are introduced you're halfway through.

also the narrator (audiobook) wasn't doing a great job with some acting especially one of the LI who is british-indian like ... it felt .... slightly racist tbh.

anyway, i think ultimately it wasn't for me.
