To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

5.0

Confession: I was supposed to read this book in high school. I’m pretty sure I read a few pages and the rest were CliffsNotes. Now, I have to say, it bums me out that it took me so long to read, but I’m sure I wouldn’t have appreciated it as much as I do now.

This book has everything I want in a good story and tackles a tough, uncomfortable subject like racism. And Atticus Finch has to be one of the greatest characters in literature. His parenting style and how he carries himself is just pure class.

This is definitely a must have book for my personal library.
