This book takes place 2 years after Bound and in those years Molly has from wallflower to confident in so many ways. However, her self doubt is crippling and annoying.
Molly has always been mousey so I wasn't surprised she was railroaded into a relationship with Deacon "Con Man" McConnell but surprisingly she had more back bone than I thought and doesn't put up with Deacon's shit...but always takes him back after the weakest apologies.
I love this series but miss the slow burn of Robin and Amery. Molly and Deacon go from avoidance and rage to I love you over night. For me it was too fast even by romance novel standards. I wanted more build up.
Overall a good read. Ready to see whose up next --- Fee and Gil? Presley and Maddox?
