The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro

5.0

4.6 ⭐️ rounded up. This started off a little boring and is by no means a page turner, but the way it ends and wraps up makes it all worth it. My favorite thing about Ishiguro’s books is the way they make you think. They always stick with me. Stevens is such a well-written, adorable, heartbreaking character and I just want to give him a hug. Stevens & the book’s message make this an unforgettable read.
