A Duet with the Siren Duke by Elise Kova

adventurous challenging dark emotional inspiring lighthearted mysterious slow-paced

3.5

-Can we talk about how beautiful the cover is, how is it made to look like one of the Historical romance books?
-Victori and Ilrith's relationship is so tender, cute, sweet.
-Ilrith is by far the calmest, most understanding, least condescending and softest male character of all the others in the series. He's adorable.
-I like how Elise Kova's female characters in this series are tenacious and stubborn enough to make others listen to her voices. They come from different realities and environments, whether it is a loving family or a negligent and abusive one, they still have that selflessness and inclination to help everyone, even though everyone can treat them badly.
-But, I don't like books with characters who are in the same condition as Victoria, characters who are neither there nor here. I don't see the point, and that takes away from my personal enjoyment of the book.
-Anyway, I love this series, and I can't wait for the next volume.
