Mind Mgmt Volume 1: The Manager by Matt Kindt

4.0

5 stars if you like Matt Kindt's artwork (which I do, if only because of the watercolor/wet ink effects) or gritty black ops conspiracy/spy stories (which I love).

Ming Mgmt pulls the reader along like any good mystery, and unlike too many mysteries, doesn't disappoint after the big reveal. Plus, there's plenty of room in the setting/story that Kindt created for future volumes as well as backstory. Speaking of backstory, there are three "extras" of backstory at the end of the volume that I actually read, which is saying something, since I'm not one who normally enjoys extras, cut-scenes, etc.
