Pretty basic story, but enjoyable nonetheless.
The characters lacked depth, and the story lacked a bit of plot but I liked it.
However, the true issue for me was the narration. Both narrators did a pretty okay job, it's not their fault the dialogue was sometimes cringey. But the deal is that the duet didn't really feel like a duet. It felt like they recorded their lines separately and then they joined them in post, it didn't feel organic and it distracted me half the time.
The smut was okay and though they could've done with a shorter book if the characters didn't go round and round a very easy-to-solve problem, I didn't hate it.
I think I may read the next one (even though the plot is extremely obvious already) but I might prefer the e-book version instead of audiobook.
