manga of all time for the anime of all time. one is a real inspiration to me. his art might not be what some might call “good” but, and i’m going to sound like a really pretentious bastard here, it really works for the themes of the book and also he has some real skill for getting things across. also, the characters!!!! are some of the best i’ve ever seen and mob & reigen in particular are really so incredible and unique and just… i could talk about this series for HOURS
