I was actually really surprised to find out that this book ended up being my favorite BDB book. After Lover Awakened, of course.
I felt like there was just so much...emotion between Marissa and Butch and I felt like the other brothers were more included than in the previous books where there was really just one brother being focused on. And... I love John and there was a decent amount of him. ;) Everything that I wanted to happen with Marissa and Butch did.
I was also glad that we got to see more of the girls (Beth, Bella, and Mary). I felt like they were pushed to the side when their man's book was done.
