It started a bit slow for me, but I am not used to reading mystery/detective that is non-fantasy/science fiction. I really enjoyed the slow built up later on, though. The shifts of perspectives and time kept it really engaging and it was well done. I remained guessing right up until the end - so it was not easy to figure out or predictable.
