Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling

For my reading list this year, one of my prompts is “re-read a book you enjoyed in the past.”
Though many books fit that prompt, I chose one that’s very near to my heart. Like many in my generation, I literally grew up with Harry Potter: going to midnight releases of the books, staying up all night to finish the new story, and dreaming about attending Hogwarts. This book is one I’ve read many times since my first foray into the wizard world, but it’s just as good now as when I was a child. Truly a masterpiece.
