Horizon by Alyson Noël

After book two everything got a little dim and boring since Daire could have made so much better choices and saved them all on a shorter time span, though I understand why the author dragged it out. We needed Cade to develop further but that made me all the more angry when she killed him off.
The property said that the sun would fall and shadow would prosper while Seer would fall (not literally like that but you get the point). You understod from the beginning that Daire was Seer but when Dace and Cade sort of swapped places it all got bleary.
I loved Cade in the end since he was this desperate kid who just wanted to be loved and I just hate that Daire killed him because his spirit animal acted out. All the talk about love and she was the one who killed Cade because of a mistake? I'm so furious.
Even more when after that you get the ending where Dace and Daire bring back the light/the sun with their tricking love? Like come on, you could have saved Cade with that and Daire wouldn't have had to lose a bit of her soul.
Even if all of these things bugs me I still love the book because it's a finish and you got to connect to Lita more, you get to see Auden from another point of view too and the plot twist with his contract was just marvelous.
But the good and bad parts makes everything come together and that's why you get three stars, it's a balance of annoyance and happiness.
