Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie
2.0
It wasn’t my favorite Agatha Christie, unfortunately. I found a lot of the investigation boring and repetitive, and there was hardly any Halloween at all. :( There is also just so much “back in my day, people weren’t committing so many crimes”, which was particularly grating.
Graphic: Child death
Moderate: Mental illness and Child abuse
There is quite a bit of suggestion about people with mental illness having committed the crime, or the crime having to do with sexual stuff regarding children. None of this happens in the book, but it mentioned many times.
There is also a brief time at which it seems like pedophilia might be involved, but that also doesn’t happen.
