Who Rules the World? by Noam Chomsky

4.0

Many of the chapters are standard Chomsky fare, but there are some especially mind-blowing chapters about Palestine as well as new details that have come out fairly recently about our massacres of peasants in Laos and Cambodia. If I remember the quote from Congressional testimony correctly, the reason we randomly decided to slaughter a bunch of peasants in Laos and Cambodia as target practice was because we had a ceasefire agreement with the Vietcong at the time and "we had all these planes ready to go, just sitting there... Our boys were getting restless."
