Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes

5.0

Stupid book, stupid tears that I can't stop, stupid insightful conversations about human nature, stupid good paralel between this and Paradise Lost, stupid easy to read and uniquely structured work, stupid Daniel Keyes, stupid pain and suffering and loss, supid life... stupid me.

The part about the boy and the badly made lamp and how all the adults around were congratulating him still. This being Charlie's biggest fear, to end up like him and it coming true at the end... this BROKE ME.

I now feel like Daniel Keyes has personally hurt me, I have beef with him and he should watch his back (nvm I googled him. RIP)
