Our Way by TL Swan
5.0
YES! This is gold!
In reality, both characters are flawed and they did/acted in ways I’d never agree in real life but my thoughts about those are shadowed by the love and friendship between Eliza and Nathan.
I felt more for Nathan, I cared about Eliza but for me, majority of the book is for Nathan. He’s one of the fictional characters that I will forever carry in my heart. He definitely have controlling and temper issues, and I wouldn’t approve of being in a relationship with someone like that but he was written in a way that he’s raw and beautiful. I agree with Eliza whenever he comments about that—how Nathan is carved out of a beautiful soul.
My first TL Swan book was The Italian and though I liked it, there were a lot of things that made me uncomfortable with that and I didn’t like the characters as much as I did here. This book got recommended to me, and when she was talking about the book, I was so hooked that I grabbed a copy immediately.
I highly recommend this, it’s lighter in comparison to The Italian, and the drama in this book is just right — it’s not overdone, but it will hit you hard.
