There are some dark undertones, but overall this was so cute and wholesome! It gave me Studio Ghibli vibes. 😊
The magic system is simple but very cleverly done, and you get to learn about magic along with the characters but it never feels like an info-dump. The art style is stunning. It's also fairly easy to follow along with the panels, which I sometimes struggle with while reading manga.
If only my library had more than the first two volumes! ðŸ˜
