Twelve Nights as His Mistress by Elisa Braden

1.0

Yiiiiikes, this was probably the worst of the series - thank goodness it's just a novella, I don't think I could have handled it if it was longer.

I was not emotionally invested in either protagonists and honestly, the Dowager (little quips at the beginning of the chapters and all) was probably the only parts that I enjoyed.

I think it's because she's made a decision for the both of them, even though it made them both miserable. I found it to be more on the selfish side than anything else and totally disregarded what he was trying to tell her.
