Read aloud: My five and seven year old loved this! They were just scared enough of the witches to love it without it being too scary for them. They also loved the main character and the plan he comes up with. It made a really fun read aloud!
Original review: This is a great read and so much better than the movie. I love the relationship between the boy and his grandma and I love how cool and supportive the grandma is throughout everything that happens. A great read for children or adults.
