I like the premise of the storyline. I liked almost the whole book but my goodness did this author want this to be the alternative to Bella having to choose between Edward & Jacob in Twilight.
Between the use of direct movie lines, “you’re like magnets, he moves, you move,” to just out right mentioning Twilight and Edward/vampires.
It was a good book without that and every time there was another mention of it I rolled my eyes…and I am a person who regularly re-reads Twilight!
Personally for me, it was too much. Maybe other people will like it but it really detracted from the story for me.

Minor: Death of parent
