The author continues (this is the first book but i accidentally read the third first, oops) to showcase amazing and toe curling romance while also showing the intricacies of coming from different types of abuse, manipulation, and toxic relationships and how it affects your future ones and how the healing process takes time. I said it on book 3, but wow didn’t expect a billionaire arranged marriage romance to have all this extra in it, but hats off to the author 
Really enjoyed it! However wasn’t as emotional and hard hitting as book 3 to me, but book 3 also dealt with more instances of severe physical abuse
