This is the second book in the Josie Quinn series. I am really enjoying the series so far. I gave both of the books I've read a solid 4 stars. I really like the character of Josie. She's the chief of police after being given the job by her predecessor. In this story, the main case revolves around a kidnapped newborn baby and his mother who was beaten and left for dead. I liked the story. I felt it was unique enough that I didn't have déjà vu and feel like I've read it before. It was a quick, easy, entertaining read.
