A Killer's Mind by Mike Omer

The murder mystery was definitely interesting. It's fucked up beyond words but I've never read this type of murder before.

I didn't really warm up to either Zoe or Tatum. Zoe is a brilliant forensic psychologist but at times I didn't get that. Maybe it was just the writing but sometimes she came across as a rookie. Also, the fact that she's not trained just doesn't fit her character. For someone who encountered a serial killer when she was 14 and and been stalked by said serial killer, it's hard to picture them not being trained or carrying down sort of weapon with them.

The multiple POVs really worked. The killer's POV just gave us enough without giving much away. That was rather interesting especially when matching it to the way Zoe was able to come to the conclusion.

There was definitely some plot holes and parts that needed to be written better. Overall, it was intriguing enough that I want to continue with book 2.
