This story started out with a lot of promise and sought to address several pressing questions about natural beauty, makeup, love, standards for men vs women, the beauty industry, etc. Unfortunately, a lot of these issues were addressed through the MUCH MORE COMPELLING SIDE CHARACTERS

(specifically Sujin and Mr. H)

or completely overrun by the incredibly drawn out love triangle drama. Honestly, it just went on too long and the main character struggled (and relapsed) on the same question too many times. As mentioned, though some of the side characters stories are really gripping and moving and show TRUE GROWTH (which is why I am giving it more than 2 stars). It is too bad the story was not about them. If you are looking for Webtoons which have similar themes, I highly recommend Cursed Princess Club by LambCat (finished), The Makeup Remover by Lee Yone (finished), Moonlight Beauty Parlor by Nawa (finished), and Odd Girl Out by Morangji (ongoing)!
