Learn Me Good by John Pearson

3.0

I got this book free on my kindle. As a teacher myself, I thought it would be a funny and light hearted read. It did have some funny stories that I easily related to and was a quick read. However, the one sided email to a friend format grew tiresome. Also, as it was one sided the author wrote the emails to his friend in away that often seemed only for the benefit of the reader of the book ( for example repeating stories they had been involved in or other information that the receiver of the email would obviously already know from their time together or from the email he had replied with.) This in my opinion sometimes made the emails seem unbelievable. I found myself thinking,"I wouldn't write an email that way." There is a sequel. Maybe I'll read it some day if its free.
