I loved this book.
It starts with Phoebe going on vacation to Connecticut, looking for some escape from all the things going wrong in her life when she runs into a bride at the hotel she booked. The hotel was supposed to be completely booked for the wedding, but somehow her reservation slipped through. There is drama with her and the bride, both wanting things to go their own way--Phoebe wants to do what she came here for, and the bride wants everything to be perfect for her wedding--and each one is getting in the other's way.
There is drama, hilarity,, over the top characters who still feel relatable and mostly likable despite their flaws, and hope for the future. This is the kind of book where you want the best for everyone, a book about overcoming grief and loss, learning to accept yourself, and personal growth.
Highly recommend.
