Lost Cat: A True Story of Love, Desperation, and GPS Technology by Caroline Paul

4.0

I read this book on the plane and it was perfect for that environment--vivid, funny, tender, it transported me out of my seat in the middle of the row and into Tibby's neighborhood. And of course, his owners'. The illustrations by Wendy McNaughton are exquisite. As for the text, I walked around for days afterward with the phrase "wet extraterrestrial eyes" in my head.
