Overall there’s nothing inherently wrong with the stories in the book. But having read the read of the series… I’m more inclined to say that Paige just can’t let Oz go.

The first story follows Lanadel who popped up in the fourth book for a bit. The second story follows Polychrome who I think was in the third book. Both of these characters are so far removed from most of the story that I didn’t care for more information on them. And I didn’t find they truly offered much as to the expansion of the original series.

The third story followed Mombi and Pete and this absolutely was worth it.
