I have been saving this book for a special occasion, and oh boy was I so excited to finally read Tinsley and Noah’s story! Compared to Hannah Cowan’s other fantastic fictional men within the universe she’s created, Noah Hutton was very different from his dad, Oakley, and big brother, Maddox. Noah was the morally grey guy, or should I say he wasn’t your typical soft, cinnamon roll guys that Hannah has written about in the past. From the previous books in the Greatest Love series, and even in the first generation books (Noah’s parents, Tinsley’s parents, etc.) there has always been small moments of how close Tinsley and Noah were. Now, in this book, I finally got to dig deep into Noah’s mind and see just how much he was truly OBSESSED with Tinsley. Tinsley and Noah had always been best friends, but for Noah, Tinsley had always been the one he wanted. With this being Tinsley and Noah’s story, it had best friends to lovers, romantic suspense, rockstar/ boxer, roommates to tour bus mates, morally grey hero, and SPICY!
Ever since I first met Tinsley and Noah in previous books, I’ve gotten crumbs of their friendship, and the hints of how much they deeply cared for each other. Noah and Tinsley had a unique friendship, one that I was constantly amazed with. Tinsley has always had a way of calming Noah down, but also being his biggest supporter. With the rocky relationship Noah had with his dad, Oakley, he didn’t really have that family support that most would expect. That’s not to say Noah’s parent didn’t care about him because they did, but there was just only one person who mattered to Noah most of all, and that was Tinsley. Noah was unapologetically morally grey, he was the man that said and did whatever he wanted regardless of what others wanted except when it came to Tinsley, Noah would gladly burn the world for HER! If you love a morally grey man who’s obsessed beyond measures for the woman in his life, that was LITERALLY Noah with Tinsley, and I FREAKING LOVED IT!
Remember when I said that, Noah was morally grey? Well, he was very much that kind of man, and I LOVED HIM! Hannah Cowan wasn’t kidding with the, “love those red flags” haha. Noah was unique in an entirely different way from the previous male characters in Hannah’s books. Noah was the man who didn’t give a flying F about what people thought about him, and his sole focus was always on Tinsley. There were a variety of small moments between Tinsley and Noah that really highlighted the significance in their friendship as well as how despite his rough exterior, Noah opened up to Tinsley in a way he never did with anyone else. I not only got to see deep into the darkness that surrounded Noah’s life, but also see the rocky relationship he had with his dad. I could tell that something had happened between Noah and his dad from the past, and the whole time I just kept thinking, “I really hope it all works out in the end.” Between some family issues and juggling the rise to rockstar fame, Noah was determined to make Tinsley his, and seeing the way he went about it bluntly was downright sexy! OMG!
Best friends to lovers with Hannah’s unique twist to it, Dang! Hannah Cowan really knew how to bring to life and drama to Tinsley and Noah’s story! If you’ve read the previous books within this series/ universe, then you’ll know it’s been a long time coming for Tinsley and Noah going from besties to a whole lot more. While reading Noah’s chapters, I got to see just how unhinged he was for Tinsley, and I gotta say I loved seeing how possessive and AGAIN OBSESSED HE WAS WITH HER! I think this book really captured the change in Tinsley and Noah’s friendship perfectly from the affectionate, reassuring touches becoming more intimate to the intense looks shared between them that illustrated the desire and feral passionate between, it was all kinds of great things to watch unfold!
GIRLLLLLLL! THE SPICE IN THIS BOOK WAS SPICING! PHEW! I needed a moment to take a breather because, HELLO NOAH HUTTON! WHOA! Noah wasn’t a soft lover, oh no, that man was all dark edges and in control which, Tinsley was more than eager to go along with! Aside from obviously enjoying the spicy moments between Tinsley and Noah was seeing Tinsley experience a new intimacy she’d never given voice to, and with Noah she was able to experience new things sexually that she had craved, and Noah was all for it. Even Noah who surprisingly wasn’t as experienced as Tinsley thought, learned a bit about Tinsley’s needs and aftercare which I thought was kind of sweet in the midst of all the heat emanating between those two lol. So in conclusion, the spice was downright steamy, sexy, and all kinds of deliciously raw desire that Tinsley and Noah only understood together.
Let’s not forget, this story also had a suspense element to the plot! The thing I liked most about this being a romantic suspense was the way Hannah gradually led up to the stalker plot line. This was something that little by little added up to a bigger issue that Tinsley and Noah expected. Looking back at the small interactions that involved Tinsley or Noah feeling like they were being watched or followed added up to the overarching question of, “who was the person following Tinsley?” Noah was known to be over protective about Tinsley at all times, but with the stalker after her, it upped his protective possessive instincts over her into full drive! Definitely felt the suspense element throughout the story, and was a bit on edge when it came to the safety of both Noah and Tinsley.
OH MA GAWD! YESSSS! TINSLEY & NOAH’S STORY WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT! YOU HAVE TO READ THIS! HANNAH YOU ABSOLUTE GENIUS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Noah and Tinsley’s friendship was a unique combination of love, and deep respect. The way Hannah wrote the romance between Noah and Tinsley was quite the experience and had me squealing in joy with the blunt honesty of how much Noah cherished Tinsley. The darkness that was inside Noah never scared Tinsley away, in fact even Tinsley had a bit of darkness to her that spoke to the beast inside of Noah. I genuinely believe that Noah and Tinsley were made for each other with how they complimented each other and brought out the best in one another. The spice was freaking HOT! PHEW! Hannah wasn’t playing around! The suspense added in the story had me anxious who was following Tinsley, and in the end it ended in a dramatic twist. Seeing lots of familiar faces from the books and series was a welcomed sight, and it just reminds me how much I’ve loved these characters over the course of years! Hannah truly had written a fantastic universe in her books, and I’m so happy to have discovered her books. This book was a wild ride that I would take over and over again! Tinsley and Noah’s story ended on a great note, and I also loved the epilogues showing even more of their love together and their families. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND EVERY BOOK BY HANNAH COWAN!!!!
