I did enjoy parts of this book - in a way I think it could have explored fandom and its commentary on it more. It seemed like it was supposed to be a story about fandom and contain commentary about it, but never completed its thesis - I wasn't sure what I was supposed to take away from it. The representation in this book is wonderful, and it is a story full of character exploration and flaws, which was the best part of it.
