urban high fantasy a taste of true crime. Lol
I didnt think I'd like book 1 when I kept hearing book 3 wasn't good at all. I've read ACOTAR and TOG so I knew what I was getting into.
This book brought a different set of feelings I wasn't ready to face. Writing style was good, though it was actually hard getting through the first 100 pages. (I was warned about it but kinda, sorta not really believed it)
A lot different from the world of ToG and ACOTAR
not that it mattered, but I did do a "toes curl" watch with my book club, it was about 6 times. I also did a "cawk" watch because SJM hasn't ever use the word in her previous works so it was fun to do that too. So "cawk watch" was 8 times.
