A Lady Unrivaled by Roseanna M. White

5.0

A Lady Unrivaled was my first exposure to White's novels, and let me tell you I was NOT disappointed. :) If you're a "romancey" kind of person like moi then I highly recommend this book. And really, how can you go wrong with a story filled with unforgettable characters, witty banter, and English castles. White's character arcs, especially for Lord Cayton, is remarkable. She really nailed it. Believable and inspirational. And who couldn't love a spunky redhead as the heroine? Ella captured me with her dynamic personality and sweet nature.

It did begin a tad slow for me, but when the author hit her stride...Wow! I kept turning the pages well after midnight and my mind's been wandering around the early 1900s English manors all day :)
