Ms. Marvel, Vol. 2: Generation Why by G. Willow Wilson

5.0

Ms. Marvel's saga continues as she tackles the Inventor, learning more about her powers, the role of a hero and even her own origin in the meantime. The story and art remain top notch, with special mention to the character development, as Kamala faces the expected problems with being a teen and a hero in a very weird world (I'll always love writers that consider how incredibly weird it is to live in the Marvel universe), and to Adrian Alphona's art.
Because, you know, Jacob Wyatt is really good and his sewer climbing splash page's a thing of beauty and awe, but damn Alphona makes his pages come alive. His style and the gorgeous sound effects he draws made everything feel more heroic.
And now I want the next trade.
