Miss Memory Lane: A Memoir by Colton Haynes

challenging dark inspiring sad tense medium-paced

I quite like a biography and this one I found extremely compelling. The honesty and sincerity of the writing made it something I’d recommend. Additionally I tend to like a rags to riches story and that along with healing from trauma is the thread of this memoir. The way the intensity of each event was conveyed made this story one I could not put down until I finished it. I started reading this book on a Friday and finished it by Sunday. However this book while compelling is hard to read because of the nature of the content. It is painful to hear about and something I think some people would struggle with because It hard to see such an unflinching look at someone’s pain. After finishing this memoir I hope that Colton finds peace with himself and his past; and happiness in his future.
