Purely Novel Intent by Michele Lenard

Unfortunately I was not a fan of this book. It had much more of a insta-/love-at-first-sight vibe than I was expecting. Sometimes this can work, but I felt like the hero was making up a version of the heroine instead of falling for her as a person instantly. The way Chris was introduced also didn't sit right with me. He doesn't seem very likable and, yes, a lot of the things that happen during the first meeting can be explained, but also... He created the very awkward and somewhat shady circumstances. I just couldn't really bring myself to like him after that. The way he speaks to his brother about Lisa also left me with a weird feeling. I liked Lisa a lot better, but unfortunately she wasn't enough to salvage the unlikable hero.
