i didn’t anticipate this much smut, but it was a pleasant surprise! i liked the writing style, and the ending had some really good build off with some mediocre pay off. i didn’t like the start of the book, it was difficult to get into and i only really liked the book about 150/200 pages in which isn’t that amazing. i HATED the email-style writing after 200 pages because it appeared way too much and i just skipped them almost completely towards the end. the romance started waaayyy to early in this book to be a good enemies-to-lovers trope, but i liked the relationship after they got together. overall, such a mediocre book. expected so much more!
