Firstly, I would like to say that I really loved this story especially miss li's writing style. It did not feel too much compared to other books I have read that were has a very messy writing style for me. The story and plot are interesting from the start till the end; it was very interesting to me and it made hook with the story that I read it for only 4 days.
Second, I liked the characters a lot. Zafirah was very relatable to me. It felt like the story was too short for me since I wanted to know more about her, but with that being said I also wanted to know more about Sarathiel. It did not feel like he was the main character a long-side Zafirah. Gio stood out to me more than him, even though out of all the guys introduced Sath was my type. He very much felt like a supporting role. But still liked the pairing of Zafirah and him. I liked that the story had the right amount of romance.
"I'm all ears," if I remember it correctly. It was on the chapter where it was Sath's point of view of Zafi opening up to him was one of the most memorable lines alongside the ways he said I love you to her. For Zafirah, I have a lot to mention. What I loved the most was her character development, though I think I needed more chapters on how she handled her stress because of academics and how she overcomes everything she was thinking that affected how she treated/acted toward people because of academics.
Lastly, I would love to see how miss li progresses as a writer as I read this series. This is a great story but I do think she has a lot to improve in still. One of them is how she writes her characters, I think. Hope to see more about Sath and Zafirah.
PS: If I ever change my opinions about this book, I will be editing this. Though what is written right now is a little messy and maybe worded badly, so I apologize.
