Kill Joy, by Holly Jackson

It was a fun short murder mystery story and I loved it!

This was a good prequel story tp a good girl's guide to murder and there wasn't any spoiler for those who haven't read the first two books.
I really like the idea of a murder mystery party and I wished I could have that in my neighborhood it would've been fun. Everyone was immersed with their characters in the story and there were some sort of eerie atmosphere in some scene which amplified the tensions in the room and makes it a lot more fun and interesting.
Although it was a little bit confusing at some point, I'm having trouble at first remembering which character played which role in the story.

For the record, I was impressed with Pip because she was smart and meticulous about everything which made me like her in the first place.
I didn't want to spoil anything for those who haven't read it but this was what I thought about the story.
SpoilerI preferred Pip's theory to how the real murder was done and because I had the same theory as Pip to who murdered Reginald. I thought it was Ralph and Reginald but, the inspector was in it came as a surprise for me. Seeing it was Bobby made it too simple and predictable. Sounds like I was too immersed like Pip in the story hahaha. But it was proved to how good this story was, it was just a game but it made you feel like the real thing.
However, I must say I was glad she was wrong because it actually led her to finally help Ravi cleared his brother's name and solved the real murder mystery in the real world.

Overall, it was a fun and entertaining short story and I really have a good time reading this trying to find out who the real murderer.
Now, I can't wait for the third book this year! Hopefully it was as good as the first one :)
